Would you like to put your financial talent into play in a consulting role where you work across different industries, take on exciting client projects and interim assignments — while developing both professionally and personally?

At Atlab, our CFO Services team is experiencing significant growth, and we are looking for Finance Consultants who are motivated by creating real value through interim finance assignments that leave lasting impact on our clients.

Role Description

As Atlab’s new Finance Consultant, you will play a central role in delivering a variety of interim tasks and projects that strengthen clients’ financial operations and support key activities within their finance functions.

This role is particularly well‑suited for those in the early years of their finance career who want hands‑on experience within CFO services — including accounting, controlling, and financial management — in a consulting environment.

You will work with a wide range of companies: from small and medium‑sized businesses to large publicly listed organizations. This gives you exposure to a broad spectrum of projects that reflect the diversity of our client portfolio.

In other words: Being part of our CFO Services team means stepping into clients’ finance functions on a temporary basis and ensuring they receive lasting value. This support is typically needed during periods of increased activity, organizational changes, projects, or temporary absences within finance teams. Here, you become a key contributor in ensuring stable financial processes.

Each assignment varies in length and focus, giving you a continuously fresh perspective on financial operations — and an opportunity to apply and grow your skills within bookkeeping, accounting, and controlling, with ongoing support from experienced colleagues.

Examples of Typical Interim Roles

• Bookkeeping and accounting support
• Financial Controlling
• Project Controlling
• FP&A / Business Controlling

Depending on your experience level, you will initially support selected parts of these roles and gradually take on broader responsibilities as your competencies develop. No two assignments are the same — and each project becomes a new opportunity to challenge yourself and strengthen your financial skillset.

As with all Atlab employees, you will receive continuous support from the team, ensuring you always have access to sparring when facing new challenges. We work closely together to create success — for both our clients and each other.

Required Qualifications

• Relevant education within Business Finance, auditing, or equivalent
• Practical experience from a relevant student position within audit or accounting
• Foundational accounting skills and a desire to learn and grow as a Finance Consultant
• Ability to thrive in changing environments and adapt to different industries
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and solid data analysis capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills — in both Danish and English
• Curiosity, motivation, and strong professional pride
